Glenn Purdy Snooker Club Championship

It was a wonderful night at the Club last Friday night when it was announced that the snooker club championship would be named after club great, Glenn Purdy. The draw for the inaugural event is up on the notice board. Glenn has been a member of the club for 30 years and has achieved success at both club and state level. He embodies all qualities that the game embraces, from a high level of skill and impeccable sportsmanship, to the countless hours at the room doing the little things that the club requires. President Selwyn Henning summed it up best with the words "most of all, he is a bloody good bloke".
